Herbert Günther

Herbert Günther was born in 1960 in Curitiba, Brazil, where he spent his childhood and formative years. His studies in Curitiba laid the foundation for an international career. Early on, he felt drawn to working abroad, gaining valuable professional experience in several countries, including Austria, the USA, and Germany. His time in Los Angeles was especially influential, where he worked at one of the city’s largest architecture firms, "Corbin Yamafuji & Partners." There, he played a key role in planning exclusive residential and resort projects. One standout project in his career was his work on the Indian Wells Tennis Center, which now hosts the world’s fifth-largest tennis tournament.

In 1992, Herbert Günther decided to settle in Kitzbühel, where he and his wife Bettina Günther founded an architecture firm. Backed by his international experience, he built the firm into a well-established name in the region. In 1997, he expanded his portfolio by founding "Herbert Günther Real Estate Development." Since then, his firm has developed numerous high-end properties in the Kitzbühel Alps region.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Herbert Günther has a strong passion for tennis. He served as president of the Kitzbühel Tennis Club for a decade, and has been co-organizer of the ATP 250 tennis tournament in Kitzbühel for 15 years.

Having lived abroad for over 40 years, Herbert Günther remains closely connected to his Brazilian roots. He speaks fluent Portuguese, English, and German.
